How to use

Read one moment clearly.

Tarot Mechanics is used to describe one selected moment through a card, observed movement, magnitude and life context. The app does not need the user to understand the internal system before receiving a useful reading.

The basic flow

Choose the card

The card defines the life field being read: action, resources, bonding, navigation, transition, and so on.

Choose the observed state

The state describes the visible direction of the moment: upward, downward, left, right, clockwise, counter-clockwise or still.

Set the magnitude

Magnitude is the level of contact with the current limit. Use 1 for first contact and 10 for threshold contact.

Add the context

Context places the reading into ordinary life: exchange, execution, exposure, bonding, solitary or mixed.

Generate the reading

The result should be one natural user-facing text. It should not sound technical, mystical or generic.

States

UP — expression DOWN — containment LEFT — narrowing RIGHT — outward response CW — forming CCW — reforming STILL — held field

For MVP users, keep this simple. The user mainly needs to know what they observed, not the whole theory behind it.

Magnitude

1 means first contact. 2–3 means light contact. 4–5 means active contact. 6–7 means pressed contact. 8–9 means edge contact. 10 means threshold contact.

For STILL, magnitude means how saturated the whole field is while no direction or rotation dominates.

Pendulum observation videos

Add short videos here. The best MVP structure is one short video per movement type, not one long explanation.

Video 1: DirectionReplace this block with an embedded YouTube/Vimeo iframe showing UP, DOWN, LEFT and RIGHT.
Video 2: RotationReplace this block with an embedded iframe showing CW and CCW movement.
Video 3: MagnitudeReplace this block with an embedded iframe showing how to estimate 1–10.
Practical rule: keep every video under 60–90 seconds. Users should be able to start using the app without studying the full doctrine.
